What is Soccer? And the Reason I Love it!

Soccer is the worlds most popular sport. It is the national sport of most European and Latin-American countries, and of many other nations. Millions of people in more than 140 countries play soccer. The World Cup is held every four years. Soccer is one of the most famous international sport. Soccer is known world wide and is played in the Olympics:
In a soccer game there are two teams of 11 players who try to score a point by kicking a ball into the opponents net. The main rules of soccer are very easy to follow. The field is divided by a centerline, has four corner flags and has two netted goals opposite each other. The players must keep the ball within the field's lines to continue play. If the ball is brought out of bounds by a team then their opponents are awarded a throw-in, which is the only time a player can touch the ball with his hands. The only other person that can touch the ball with his hands is the goaltender and this advantage is limited to an eighteen-yard box that surrounds his goal. There are two forty-five minute halves in a game with a five minute break at halftime. To win the game your team has to have more goals scored then your challengers within the allotted ninety minutes of play. To score a goal you must put the ball !
There are many things you can do to condition yourself to play.
Soccer the way we play it came from England in the 1800's. Soccer was not that popular until the mid-1900's. Today soccer is very popular and it is one of the nations fastest-growing sports. There are many exercises and drills you can do to improve how you play soccer.
There is also many physical conditioning that players can do. Soccer can help you stay fit and healthy. Many people can play soccer and benefit from it. Soccer is very fun and a great recreational sport.
A reason why I love soccer is because it takes a lot of team effort. So much you wouldn’t even imagine. If one person doesn’t try on the team or doesn’t give 110% your whole team loses. There is no I in team and that was the first thing I learned during my soccer career. Team effort is what I love, because you have to work with your team and communicate with every one to take the ball up the field and score. My coach always says; score early so we have a cushion for some time. And that’s true. He says that every day before a game. He also says team effort is what scores the goals. And I remember the first game. We lost 7-0. He said we lost because we couldn’t connect 3 passes without getting the ball taken away. And we had NO TEAM EFFORT. That game every one was greedy. They wanted to score the most goals and they didn’t care what anyone said. I admit it; I was like that the first game to. But team effort is what wins the game.

So in conclusion, it is important to know I love soccer because, it involves a lot of running and skill, I have been playing since I was five, and I involves team effort. So what is you favorite sport? Are more an individual or an team player?

Items, that change your life

The event that changed my life the most was playing soccer. I am really committed to it and so is my family. Every week I had a soccer game and my dad always came to watch me play. Nowadays, I feel happy that I could achieve my goals and more important that I had the chance to live my dream, even though it was only for 2 seasons.
On my first season in HSV we won the league in the second highest Under 16 devision ( U-16 Regionalliga Nord), witch meant that we were promoted to the highest U-17 devision in Germany, the U-17 Bundesliga. By the beginning of that season our team provided us cleats, we could choose anyone that we liked I knew that these cleats that I am going to choose will be my partner in that season so it took me a bit to get one. By the end of the day my choice was clear, I got the Nike Mercurial Vapor 8 White and Blue.

These cleats were my first ones to play in the professional youth. I certainly believe in that I developed my style of playing in these cleats. In general I had a great season, with scoring 7 goals and assisting 13 goal in 24 games it was the best season that I played in my life and in the whole season I didn't change my cleats. They were my Partners in the great journey. I practiced in them my free kicks. I learned in them how to play not only for, but also for the team.
that is the reason how it become my personal artifact. Where ever I go, where I travel to, these cleats are always in my bag. I could never give them away. I tried in my Mercurials better and better. I know I bought them because I liked the way it looks but with the time it became for me an very important Item. It has so manny memories on it, so manny goals were scored on them it just impacted my life. for me these are not just simple cleats, they are my lucky charms. Every time I hold them in my hands it remembers of the good times, it remembers me of soccer, of my passion.  My Nike Mercurial Vapor 8  has impacted my life and many ways
and I am very grateful that I received these cleats.  Everybody has one item with memories, one item with emotions. Everybody has that personal artifact that impacted someones life. What’s the one in your life that has impacted you?
